Mini Medics

Our Mini Medics course introduces children to essential first aid skills in a fun, hands-on way. Through age-appropriate activities and simple scenarios, kids learn how to stay safe, help others, and feel confident responding in an emergency.

3.5 Hours Course Basic Life Support and AED

The qualification will provide learners with the knowledge and practical competence required to be able to recognise and
treat adults who have become unresponsive and also who may have suffered cardiac arrest. Learners will gain the skills and
knowledge to respond quickly, calmly, and confidently and provide life saving treatment. It is suitable for learners who have a responsibility at work or are involved in voluntary and community activities but teaches valuable skills that will benefit everyone in all aspects of their life.

The course covers a range of topics, including:

• What is first aid?

• Responsibilities

• Action in an emergency

• Primary survey

• Recovery position

• Resuscitation and the safe use of an AED

4 Hour Course: Basic Life Support, AED and Anaphylaxis

The qualification will provide learners with the knowledge and practical competence required to be able to recognise and treat
adults who have become unresponsive, suffered cardiac arrest or are having a life-threatening allergic reaction (Anaphylaxis).
Learners will gain the skills and knowledge to respond quickly, calmly, and confidently and provide life saving treatment. It is suitable for learners who have a responsibility at work or
are involved in voluntary and community activities but teaches valuable skills that will benefit everyone in all aspects of their life.

The course covers a range of topics, including:
• What is first aid?
• Responsibilities
• Action in an emergency
• Primary survey
• Recovery position
• Resuscitation and the safe use of an AED
• Anaphylaxis

4 Hour Course Basic Life Support -& AED for Adult, Child & Infant

It is suitable for learners who have a responsibility at work or are involved in voluntary and community activities but teaches valuable skills
that will benefit everyone in all aspects of their life.
FAA LEVEL 3 AWARD IN BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AND AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATION FOR ADULTS,
CHILDREN AND INFANTS (RQF)
AWARD IN BASIC LIFE SUPPORT AND AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATION FOR ADULTS, CHILDREN

Assessment and certification
This qualification is assessed through practical demonstration and oral questioning. Real-life scenarios will be set to test the learners skills
and knowledge.

1 Day Training Course

Emergency Paediatric First Aid 

The qualification is designed for learners with a responsibility for the care of children and babies and provides knowledge and skills to deal with a
range of paediatric first aid conditions and incidents.
The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of Paediatric
First Aid situations.
The FAA Emergency Paediatric First Aid qualification is unit 1 of the two-day FAA Paediatric First Aid qualification. From gaining this Emergency
Paediatric First Aid qualification learners could progress to completing unit 2 and being awarded the 2-day FAA Award in Paediatric First Aid.

A range of subjects is covered including:-
• Role of the Paediatric First Aider • Seizure
• Primary survey • Choking
• Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED) • Minor injuries
• Wounds, bleeding and shock • Recovery position
